Vero Fruit Ice began with a simple observation by Vaibhav, a Food & Chemical Engineer, an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati & University of Salerno, Italy. Growing up in India, the icy crunch of a summer Gola was a childhood staple. Years later, while studying in Italy in a university located near a sun-drenched Italian coast, he discovered Granita—a traditional Sicilian treat that shared the Gola's soul but used real fruit instead of artificial syrups.

He realized that while the world knew gelato, the authentic, fruit-forward Granita remained a hidden gem. Seeing a bridge between Italy's craft and India's status as the "Land of Fruits," Vaibhav set out to merge the two. After months of rigorous R&D and engineering-led experimentation, Vero Fruit Ice was born.
